AT LAST FUBARA HAS A NICE WORD FOR WIKE

The governor of rivers state Similayi Fubara has credited his rise in politics to former governor Nyesom Wike.

Speaking at the reception and gala nite where he received the man of the year award Fubara remarked that Wike discovered him and midwife his rise in politics.

It was the first time since their falling out over political disagreements in river state with majority taking side with Fubara.

However matters reached a high crescendo recently when all the members of the house of assembly signed a filed notice of impeachment against Fubara which had it not being the intervention of the President Governor Fubara would have been impeached

In 2007 Ajimobi ran on the ticket of the ANPP for the Governor of Oyo state with Seyi Makinde as one of the candidates for the senatorial seats in Oyo state.

They both lost and Ajimobi later became the governor of Oyo state in the then AC party.

But in a dramatic turn of events. He was succeeded by Governor Seyi Makinde as Oyo state governor in  2019.

He soon wormed himself into the hearts of the Oyo state media as the blue eyed boy of Nigerian politics.

He opposed PDP for refusing to zone presidential candidate of PDP to the south in 2023 with Nyesom Wike.

And join the five serving and non serving PDP governors who were bent on preventing PDP from producing a northerner as President. They gave their support to Bola Ahmed Tinubu

But recently he had started to show his true colors and appeared to be searching for new a new image for himself.

After falling out with Nyesom Wike. His strong ally and  a close associate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He scathingly attacked the President for not running a transparent government. But to everyone’s surprise he paid a visit to the president in his office in Aso rock in a move that looked reconciliatory.

But he doesn’t seemed to be satisfied with the outcome, this week it’s remoured he’s negotiating with former vice president Atiku. Who’s seeking to upstage the incumbent president.

Not a few people are asking the question, what the Oyo state governor is up to and also what are the likelihood of him getting his fingers burnt.

Liverpool lost the opportunity to close the gap at the top of the premier league table late on Sunday night in their clash with Man.City who are refusing to believe Arsenal is unassailable at top of the table with a nine point lead.

And they may have to wait another day for an opportunity to close the gap in their bid to earn at least a top four finish.

They have managed to go ahead in a match they were doing all they can to hang on when midfielder Szoboszlai rifled home a direct free kick in the seventy fourth minute of the game but in a hero turn villain mode was sent off later on in the game when he clashed with Haaland at the tail end of the game.

But six minutes before normal time City pulled a goal back through Silva assisted by Haaland and Liverpool goalkeeper gifted City a penalty in the 93rd minute which was converted by Haaland.

It has taken City just seven minutes to turn the game around though Liverpool fans are still in awe of some of the decisions made by the referee.

WHO IS JESUS

Jesus is God incarnation on the earth.

In other words Jesus is God in human form.

Despite the revelation of Jesus Christ as God many still stick to their idols and fail to identify with him and accept him as God but prefer to identify with the things that are not true.

He did many signs and taught many truths which made many accept him as their God but some people prefer to stick with their lies and till this day they seek to destroy his testimonies and make many who accepts him as lord and savior enemies.

He left and went back to heaven which is his abode but promised those who believe him the power to become a child of God.

In other words the power to do anything that he has done even all the miracles he has performed and the power to live above sin.

It doesn't matter who believes or not God is God.

The ultimate desire of God is to live with us as father and sons.

And reign as king and princes but Satan seek day and night that the will of God will not be fulfilled.

Nevertheless the will of God will be fulfilled come what may.

United States President Donald Trump spoke glowingly and publicly about the Nigeria's First Lady at the 74th National Prayer Breakfast held in Washington, DC.

Nigerians can feel proud of her by the way the US president spoke about her and the Redeemed church of God and indeed the body of Christ in Nigeria.

The incident brought to rememberance the story of the biblical story of Esther of old.

Remember that heither to Nigerian Christians and indeed the religious bodies in Nigeria have been maligned for not reflecting Godly teachings because of the many atttrocities some had carried out on their behalf.

This latest development is a challenge to the world that Christians cannot be judged by a few bad eggs.

The National Prayer Breakfast is an annual event that brings political and faith leaders all over the world together.

Federal High Court sitting in Abuja may have set a new record after sentencing a former managing director of the Nigerian Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank, Robert Orya, to 490 years in prison over N2.4 billion fraud.

He was found guilty for all the 49 charges and sentenced 10 years each for all the charges amounting to 490 years but terms are however expectedly to run concurrently.

Orya was managing director of Nexim between 2006 to 2016. And was taken to court in 2021.

The EFCC accused him of defrauding the Nexim bank by using fictitious names to collect loans and refusing to pay back.
